Laurent Amiel leads Varian’s business operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Laurent is passionate about realizing a world without fear of cancer by leveraging the power of innovation. He’s deeply committed to developing a Comprehensive Cancer Care approach to accelerate the path from diagnosis to therapy to survivorship. Laurent shares a deep personal and professional commitment to increasing quality and global access to care for all patients in EMEA.

Prior to joining Varian in 2020, Laurent developed over 30 years of experience across multiple industries in MedTech and management consulting in the U.S., Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.

Laurent holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the ParisTech École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers.
