Peter Shen serves as the Head of Sales Operations for Varian, leading global sales operations strategy to meet the evolving needs of customers. Peter collaborates closely with the Varian Executive Leadership Team, Business Lines, and Regions, to enhance coordination across sales, marketing, product management, and strategy to drive value for customers.
With more than 25 years of experience at Siemens Healthineers, Peter has held key leadership roles spanning digital transformation, sales operations, and business strategy. Most recently, as Head of Digital and Automation for North America, he led the integration of AI, data analytics, and automation into healthcare delivery, aligning innovative technology with business priorities.
Peter holds degrees in both Biomedical Engineering and Mathematical Sciences from Johns Hopkins University.
