Stephen W. Jamison

Stephen Jamison has served as President, Proton Solutions, since November 2021. He is responsible for the growth and development of Varian’s Proton Solutions offerings, as well as oversight of R&D, supply chain, manufacturing, and all global sales, service, and marketing.

Mr. Jamison joined Varian in 2019 as Vice President, Finance – Emerging Business, bringing more than 25 years of progressive experience in both the financial services and technology industries, with a balanced mix of corporate and business unit expertise. Prior to joining Varian, Mr. Jamison was a Vice President at Dell Technologies, where he held positions of increasing responsibility during 20 years of service, including roles in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, M&A activities, and general management across a large organization.

Mr. Jamison holds a BSBA in Finance from the University of Central Florida and an MBA in Finance, Investments, Risk Management, and International Business from The University of Georgia.
